"Juxtapoz Turns 18"

Everybody's favorite arts & culture magazine "Juxtapoz" turns 18! Even though this journal had it's coming of age along time ago, a finely legal celebration in some words was in order. Between March 24th to April 14th 2012, Copro Gallery at the Bergamot Art Complex in Santa Monica held vigil to "Juxtapoz Turns 18" a wonderful conglomerate of artists from all walks of life that bring a slew of works and pieces in mixed mediums and portray an accurate description of Juxtapoz's past, present & future. Each artist represented brings his or her own style to the table. Whether it's lowbrow, street art, surreal, pop, gothic or psychedelic, this multifaceted event shows us why Juxtapoz Magazine is still so fresh, cutting edge and trendsetting after 18 years.

Artists curated by Gwynn Vitello and Greg Escalante and include Robert Williams (who founded Juxtapoz in San Francisco, Ca. in 1994), Shepard Fairey (Obey), Mark Ryden, Todd Schorr, Marion Peck, Camille Rose Garcia, The Date Farmers, Jeremy Fish, Tara McPherson, Shag, Scott Musgrove, Neckface, Elizabeth Mcgrath, Anthony Ausgang, Souther Salazar, Luke Chueh, Ed Templeton, Dennis McNett, Isabel Samaras, Charles Wish, Jeremy Lipking, Steve Olson, Don Pendleton, Mike Shine, Retna, Craig Stecyk, Mike Giant, Ron Lipking, Sage Vaughn, Deanna Templeton & many more
